HOW TO APPLY

Application Forms

The candidates can apply Online in the College Web Site. The Brochure can be obtained from the College Office or can be downloaded from the same site.

Application Fee

Application fee is Rs.400

The fee can be paid through
1. Net Banking Facility to the Credit to one of the following accounts

2.By Demand Draft drawn from any Bank or Exchange Company, favoring ‘The Manager, Marian Engineering College’, payable at Trivandrum.

3.In Cash at the College Office.

I. Instructions for Candidates applying Online

Phase I- Data entry

a. Visit the website of the college (www.marian.ac.in).
b. In the Admission Link click “Admissions2013-14”.
c. Click on the link “New Applicants”.
d. Enter correct details in all the columns of the Application Form.
e. The details of the remittance is to be entered in the Application Form as otherwise the Application will not be accepted.
f. f. Note down the password entered for future reference.
g. Click the “Submit” Button.
h. Your Application ID will be displayed and also e-mailed to you in the e-mail id provided by you, which should be noted down for future reference.

Phase II- Registration

1. Click “Candidate Registration” for commencing processing of the application.
2. Type in the Application ID and Password to Log in. The entire Application Form together with the data you have filled in will reappear for your verification and correction (if any) for physically registering the application with the college.
3. Once you are satisfied with the entries, press confirm.
4. At this stage the information in the Application Form will be frozen. No further changes will be possible.
5. Now the Profile Details Page appears where you can download the Filled Up Application Form (PDF Format) AND/OR get the Acknowledgement for the Application AND/OR Change Password.
6. Log out to complete the Online Process.
7. A Printed copy of the filled Application Form together with the documents as stipulated in the prospectus, and Demand Draft / Details of Net Banking remittance, with name of the applicant on the back side, is to be forwarded to the college through post or submitted directly at the college office before the specified date.

Note:
Catechism Certificate from the Parish Priest in the case of Catholics and a Certificate from the Parish Priest for other Christians should also be forwarded along with the application, if they desire to be considered for admission in those categories.

Incomplete Application without the attachments as specified above will be rejected in total.

II. Instructions to Candidates applying with Downloaded Forms

The duly filled in application (downloaded from the college website) together with the documents as stipulated in the Prospectus, along with Demand Draft / Details of Net Banking remittance, with name of the applicant on the back side, is to be forwarded to the college through post or submitted directly at the college office before the specified date.

Note:
Catechism Certificate from the Parish Priest in the case of Catholics & Certificate from the Parish Priest for other Christians should also be forwarded along with the application, if they desire to be considered for admission in those categories.
Incomplete Application without the attachments as specified above will be rejected in total.
